The ReBalance Leadership Bootcamp and Workshop in Sweden brought together women from different backgrounds for an intensive, reflective, and hands-on learning experience — focused on leadership that is grounded, courageous, and real.
Leadership Rooted in Identity
The programme began with deep introspection. Participants explored identity as the foundation of leadership — reflecting on who they are, their strengths, and the patterns that shape how they lead, especially in moments of challenge.
Understanding oneself became the starting point for leading others.
Connecting Theory to Practice
Leadership styles and approaches were explored through both theory and lived examples. Participants drew inspiration from Malmö’s vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem, including Level Malmö, and from the strong, values-driven leadership model represented by BPW Sweden.
These examples showed how leadership shapes communities, organisations, and long-term change.
Leadership Under Pressure
A core part of the workshop was fully hands-on. Through negotiation and mediation exercises under pressure, participants took part in a high-stakes simulation focused on budget redistribution in a state facing deep crisis.
The exercise revealed how leadership styles shift when stakes are high — how values, communication, and decision-making collide under pressure.
An open debriefing circle allowed space for honest reflection, learning, and collective insight.
From Leadership to Advocacy
The bootcamp concluded with advocacy work. Participants designed concrete action plans, connecting leadership identity to real-world influence — in workplaces, communities, and wider systems.
This was a space of awareness, courage, and collective growth.
